Banquet Server - per diem

SUMMARY: The Banquet Server is responsible for ensuring guests have an enjoyable meal in whatever capacity they are assigned that day.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Maintains the Erickson Way philosophy and ?Vision? statement.
2. Ensures guests have an enjoyable meal.
3. Ensures the assigned job is carried out in a professional, friendly manner.
4. Communicates appropriately with supervisors, dining room staff and guests; listens effectively.
5. Ensures proper production and presentation of all food items and provides maximum appeal and freshness.
6. Maintains kitchen sanitation and equipment cleaning schedule
7. Is able to maintain a clean, professional appearance, appropriate for working with the general public.
8. Must be able to demonstrate basic food preparation and service knowledge.
9. Seeks to exceed guest expectations by engaging them in conversation if appropriate and anticipating their needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to deal effectively with several projects, an eye for detail, and a friendly manner in dealing with guests. Flexibility and dependability are essential.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
One year experience in a kitchen/serving environment required. Must be over 21 to work with any alcoholic beverages. High School Diploma or GED required, unless an active student.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
