Essential Functions:
The Special Events/Development Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and coordinating a variety of events and projects simultaneously. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing a budget, handling forecasting and tracking financial transactions. Qualified candidates will be extremely detail-oriented and deadline and results-oriented. A proven track record in running successful galas, golf outings and other large functions is a must along with being able to make independent judgements, conduct research, solve problems and deal with sensitive issues. Qualified candidates will have experience in stewarding donors and building relationships with donors to sustain and increase philanthropic support. Candidates should possess a proven track record of sales results with respect to gaining vendor and community support.
Education: BA or higher
Qualifications/Requirements: Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in philanthropic activities. Sales and marketing experience a plus. Strong written and communication skills. Extremely self-motivated. Strong computer skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Razor''s Edge. Experience working with volunteers.

BA Degree

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
