Quick Apply Contract 1 hour ago Full Job Description The Aspire Counseling Program of Pompton Plains is recruiting for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - hybrid/remote schedule specializing in working with adolescents in behavioral health with in-person initials and remote follow ups.
In this role, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be an independent contractor and available to provide services for 4-6 hours per week.
The NP will have a collaborating physiciann.
This program operates around the school year calendar, September to June.
The scope of the work involved will be diagnosing and treating our clients, specifically conducting assessments, evaluations, and follow-ups.
You will treat conditions appropriate for outpatient treatment.
Knowledge / Skills Provide exceptional care, support to children and teens ages 5 to 17 years Fluency with EHR systems and superb documentation skills Compassionate, caring provider Comfortable with medication management of psychiatric conditions Outstanding attention to detail, interpersonal and problem-resolution skills
Qualifications:
Current APRN license in New Jersey Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification Active DEA registration Strong ADHD and ADD diagnosis and treatment experience Experience Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner Mental Health & Psychiatry experience At least 3 years of experience with adolescents preferred Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist Board Certification Job Type:
